My EClass!

The county that I work in is encouraging teachers and students to utilize more technology in the classroom and through EClass. This is a portal students can use at home or at school that gives them access to all sorts of academics. We are using Nooks in small groups in my 2nd grade literature circles. Love it! I enjoy watching the students' excitement, they love to use technology =) Here are a couple pics. Have a great week teachers...and happy planning!

BOO!

Check out this skeleton reader's response my students finished today. I read the book The Ghost Who Ate Sausage by June Melser. The students really enjoyed the book, and the skeleton too. They were very excited to see their skeletons hanging in the hall! I got the skeleton cutout from superteacher. Success!

Well, the science research was a success. :) The activity took about 3 days~we finished it off today by having the students present. I was a little surprised when a couple of students guessed the animals such as Macaw, Black Mamba, and Diamondback. Who knew?! Here are a couple of pictures~ it was a good reminder of how animals can make any skill more interesting to the little ones :)
