Success!

Well, the science research was a success. :) The activity took about 3 days~we finished it off today by having the students present. I was a little surprised when a couple of students guessed the animals such as Macaw, Black Mamba, and Diamondback. Who knew?! Here are a couple of pictures~ it was a good reminder of how animals can make any skill more interesting to the little ones :)

This weekend only for those who follow me here, I will be giving my non-fiction "Mystery Egg"  animal research project! This lesson supports Common Core non-fiction standards, and is 2nd/3rd grade appropriate~however, it may easily be adapted to other grade levels.
